Kayla

Tuesday went back to the big city for a follow-up on Kayla's foot. The nurse took the wrapping off...which was very painful..Kayla cringed and got sick to the stomach. Kelsey, who HAD to come along to see the 'hole' in her foot was laughing. And I thought she'd make a good nurse. Anyway, the 'hole' was about the size of a quarter and kind of gross...Kayla couldn't look at it. She needs to put antibiotic ointment on every day and re-wrap it. The doctor came in and informed us the wart was sent to pathology after the surgery and was put on slides and examined....and it is a wart! He is a fun doctor.

Ed ended up applying the ointment and wrapping it this morning. She just couldn't handle it.





She is SO not liking life with crutches. She gets exhausted in school, has black and blue marks on her arms and her back all the way down to her ankle really hurts. Yesterday we were watching TV and she gets down on the floor to crawl to the bathroom and then hops back on one foot. So funny.

She has another follow-up next Tuesday. Until next time.....
