Road Trip!

Every summer for the past 17 years we would meet my mom and dad halfway between here and there and they would take Kayla and Kelsey for about two weeks in the summer. Of course, at first it was only Kayla. This is the first summer we felt comfortable sending them on their own.

So they set out on a Thursday morning, of course, took their good old sweet time. They stopped in Bismarck and left the car their at cousins and went to the lake until Sunday.





They then went back to Bismarck from Sunday to Wednesday to hang out by going to a water park, shopping, etc. and back to the lake on Wednesday through Sunday. This time the four cousins, with Kayla driving, went to the lake. They of course took their sweet time and stopped to see Salem Sue, the world's largest holstein cow!

The four cousins then proceeded back to Bismarck and met up with more cousins!





Finally, Monday they headed back home. Of course, they stopped to see some more large animals...the buffalo and prairie chicken and seemed to end up in jail near the buffalo.
