Busy, busy

It has been a busy month and half since the figure skating show in March.  From annual physical to awards ceremonies. Something is always on the calendar.

In April, Kayla ended her high school skating career with the Figure Skating banquet.  Myself and Kayla were suppose to head to Bismarck for college orientation on Saturday, April 16. But didn't make it. Why, you ask? Well, why do you think? The weather of course. It snowed in the Jamestown area about 8-12 inches. That that was scratched. She was able to get everything done by phone.

Ed took a trip to Bellevue, NE from April 21 to April 27. He missed Easter with us girls, but we survived. We went to mass, ate a lot and watched girlie shows on TV that day. It was quite relaxing.

April 30 brought Kayla's prom and post prom party. She thoroughly enjoyed that adventure. Us girls attended grand march. What a great fashion show.

I attended a women's retreat, Life in the Spirit, the weekend of May 6.  What an awesome experience!

May 9 Kayla attended Senior Awards Night. On May 21 the girls will be making sub sandwiches at church. This is a fundraiser to attend a retreat this summer.

We have been doing odd jobs around the house preparing for graduation open house. What an exciting time. Looking forward to all the family coming for the celebration!

Kelsey is suppose to be singing a solo in the choir concert on May 23. A solo!! She accidently tried out for this....she is so funny. Kayla will be attending a Twins game for her senior trip.

Graduation and open house is in early June. The following week after graduation for four days is Kelsey's spring dance show.

So you can see how busy it's been. The summer is going to just fly by with everything that's going on. I had a dream the other night that some how I missed summer. I was pale while others were tan!
