The FF Skating Club presented TV Glide 2009 this past weekend from March 27 - March 29 at the community ice arena. They performed to various television show theme songs.
Many levels of skaters performed. From 3-years old in the Snow Plow Sam group (first year skaters) to Senior High students in the advanced group (long-time club members). Many of these skaters are at the rink at 6:00 a.m. two to five days a week, skate evenings and many of the Advanced skaters apprentice the younger skaters throughout the season. They are dedicated and hard working skaters.
Kayla was in seven numbers in this years show. They include the opening number, advanced number, high school boy/girl number, spotlight, apprentice, dance, and the closing number. She skated to various songs including the Friends show theme, Happy Days, Jesus Take the Wheel and more. 2009 marked Kayla's 13th ice show....she started in 1997 when she was only 4!
