Kelsey's "New & Improved" Room

Kelsey has been wanting her room painted for months. Always bringing it up to me...sometimes I may have ignored her, sometimes I may have said maybe. Anyway, while she was gone for a week, we decided to purchase the paint...she had three colors she wanted. The colors included, Orchid Rose for the top, Revival Mahogany for the stripe in the middle, and Lime Pop for the lower part. Her room was basically painted the same already, but a light pink on top, ballet border and light green on the bottom.

Kelsey had her room last decorated, when we first moved in, when she was 7. Well, she has doubled in age and I guess it was time to rid of the little girl ballerinas.

Kelsey did all the work herself, from moving everything out of her room, taping, removing the border, cleaning the walls and of course painting the three colors, plus the baseboards and the trip around the window and closet....oh, and she decided to paint her closet to match the walls. She would like to paint her dresser and the blades on the ceiling fan white. Also, she would like to get a nice mirror and some hooks to hang items on.

She de-cluttered her room (Big Time!). All she has left in it is her bed and dresser and one item on the wall. Now we have many items to take to the Salvation Army.
